Here's the lead sheet for Gershwin's fabulous Summertime - there are lots of possible changes to this jazz standard but these are my favourite - I also like to play it in A minor because it's great for the A minor blues scale! I generally use the changes below as one of my jazz comp alternatives but simplify the overall guitar harmony to:- ||: Am | Am | Am | Am| Dm | G7 | Bm7b5 | E7 |Am | Am | Am | Dm G7 | CMaj7 | Bm7b5 E7 | Am | Bm7b5 E7 :|| These changes give me more freedom for improvisation!
