I've just loaded up Griff Hamlin's excellent Four-Note Blues Solo in A. I have to say that Griff is one of the clearest guitar teachers on the Internet and his Blues Guitar Unleashed course is highly recommended. In fact, his freebies are well-worth signing up for! In this video, he uses only four notes to play two blues choruses and the solo is well worth learning for its simple clarity and what's more, it's very easy to apply to any other key - I have to say that it's added a new dimension to my jazz blues playing mainly in F and Bb!
